Ross County have completed the signing of former Barnsley midfielder Martin Woods.
The former Scotland Under-21 international has put pen to paper on a deal with the Dingwall club until the end of January with a view to a longer stay in the Highlands.
Woods, 28, started his career at Leeds before moving on to Sunderland, Rotherham and Doncaster.
He becomes Staggies boss Jim McIntyre's second signing since he replaced Derek Adams last month, following the arrival of former Celtic defender Lewis Toshney.
McIntyre said: "I'm delighted Martin has agreed to join the club. He's a great talent and has a fantastic left foot."
Woods could make his County debut at Celtic Park a week on Saturday when his new side take on the Scottish champions.
