Verdict

Not the strongest York juvenile contest with possibilities headed by POINT OF WOODS (NAP) who finished fourth here last time in a much better race. The Showcasing colt came home to some effect that day behind a trio of useful-looking sorts and this rates a more straightforward assignment. Reputation was also noted staying on that day into sixth spot and as that was his debut run, can be expected to come forward considerably. However, there were three lengths between the pair and the Beckett colt is expected to confirm placings. Any juvenile unveiled by Kevin Ryan at this track needs careful consideration which brings Brilliant Vanguard into the equation and he demands a market check. Penwortham looks best of the Fahey duo.
