    Verdict

Group 1 winning sprinters SHEA SHEA and Sole Power take up arms once again. The latter won this as a three-year-old and a fitness advantage may have told when he beat the former a neck in the King's Stand at Ascot in June. But Mike De Kock's charge had beaten Sole Power earlier in the year in Dubai and finished ahead of him again when fourth in the July Cup last time. Shea Shea is taken to edge today's rematch with Frankie taking over the reins. Like most of the rest, Slade Power has a bit to find with the aforementioned pair and so does Tickled Pink, although the latter is still improving and beat a previous winner of this, Kingsgate Native, at Sandown before a below par effort behind today's rival Moviesta at Goodwood. Kingsgate Choice beat York Glory in a handicap over track and trip in May while Swiss Spirit is another who could go well without being quite good enough. Borderlescott has won this twice before but doesn't look the force of old at the age of eleven.
