Verdict

COMMON TOUCH was always going best when returning to winning ways over C&D 10 days ago, beating better-fancied stablemate Chiswick Bey by more than a length with Iceblast back in third. That was only his fourth start and Lee Topliss' claim negates his rise in the weights so there seems no reason why Richard Fahey's gelding won't be in the firing-line again and he's preferred to Yarmouth runner-up Majestic Dream and Nawaashi, who couldn't justify favouritism off this mark at Warwick last time and finished behind First Class Favour at Catterick in the autumn. Folkestone winner Yair Hill didn't really get the run of the race at Salisbury next time and may prove the pick of the remainder ahead of the consistent Boundaries.
