      Verdict

This was won by a three-year-old filly last year and NEMORALIA (NAP) has the form to go close. A Group 2 winner here in May, she went on to separate subsequent Group 1 winners Qemah and Alice Springs when runner-up in the Coronation Stakes at Ascot and should be bang there at the finish. A Group 3 runner-up at Goodwood, Forge is another three-year-old likely to figure and So Beloved may well improve on last year’s seventh. William Buick prefers Charming Thought to stablemate Flash Fire, who was behind Librisa Breeze in the International Stakes, but Birchwood may prove best of Godolphin’s three runners if running anywhere near his best. Jallota has yet to win a pattern race and the remainder look to be facing a tough task.
