Verdict

This looks a very open handicap but the 2015 Cesarewitch winner Grumeti bounced back to winning ways at Wolverhampton and is only 3lb higher. Those who witnessed GRACELAND winning an apprentice race with ease at Ascot on Friday won't want to miss her this time as she won with any amount in hand on her first start at the trip and comes here unpenalised. Paris Protocol is stepping up to the trip for the first time but was staying on gamely over 1m6f at Salisbury and has to be a threat. The lightly-raced Parliamentarian looked a few pounds high after completing a double in the summer while Tatting is a Southwell specialist who has won 15 times on the all-weather but never in 19 runs on Turf. There are plenty of dangers at the bottom of the handicap and Paul Hanagan is on board Nottingham winner On Fire again.
