Middle Park Stakes entry New Art looks is progressing at a rate of knots and is fancied to as the one to be on in this open nursery. Curtail and High Curragh have hit form at the right time for this and are also respected, while Prince Of Light is expected to pose a live danger now that he steps up towards a more appropriate trip. The last named is a son of Fantastic Light that showed the benefit of his debut run when bolting up in a maiden at Goodwood last month. This faster surface should not be a problem and Mark Johnston's charge is one to keep tabs on in the betting. High Curragh never gave up the ghost when battling to victory last time. He has more on his plate but has the right attitude to go close for each-way backers. Curtail fully deserved his victory at Chester just over a fortnight ago and should again run his race. However, he has almost the worst of the draw to contend with and needs a fair bit of luck on his side. So too does Robustian, who is expected to be suited by a seventh furlong but faces no easy task from stall 14. A much more favourable stalls position for New Art is a very persuasive factor for Jeremy Noseda's charge. However, the manner of his two previous victories as also been most convincing and he is expected to be too tough to get past if he can find only a little more today.
