Verdict

Waiting For Richie won this on his return to action a year ago but wasn’t seen subsequently though a long break is obviously not a concern and he’s only 2lb higher. OCTOBER STORM was a close fifth a year ago and was having his first subsequent start when returning with a fine effort behind Handiwork and Carnwennan at Doncaster. He’s won over track and trip and looks nicely treated. Champarisi has been winning minor handicaps and has more to do off a higher mark while The Cashel Man hasn’t won a race since 2015. Running Cloud’s only victory in 20 starts was on the all-weather.
