Richard Fahey has a very strong hand here with three entries. Gin In The Inn returned to action at Ripon where he beat last year's winner of this, Al Qahwa. Paul Hanagan rides this time and he's partnered stable companion George Bowen on enough occasions to know his strengths, which appear to be at a slightly lower level. Foolaad has won his last five, including at this level at Pontefract last time where he had Orion's Bow back in third, while Frankie's presence on Danzeno is significant and his mount landed an Ascot handicap in this grade last summer. However, Michael Appleby's charge had finished fifth in the Wokingham at the Royal meeting behind OUT DO, who has been racing in Dubai over the winter. David O'Meara's charge is a regular in these sort of events and, as he's just 2lb higher, is taken to get back to winning ways.
