    Verdict

Unlike most of these, ROSENBAUM is proven over today's distance having landed a recent double on the all-weather. Charlie Appleby's charge may be up to defying a hike in the weights after winning easily at Southwell last month. Shalabina and Dawn Missile are maiden winners stepping up in trip and could get involved but the likes of Peterhouse, Swaheen and Chilworth Bells won lower grade handicaps on their latest starts and race off higher marks today. Framley Garth was still beaten six lengths when runner-up at this level in October but Yorkidding and Wolf Albarari should be capable of better off their current marks.
