    Verdict

PENNSYLVANIA DUTCH made a successful debut at Haydock in September and returned there after a long break to land a handicap last month. He's only been raised 3lb and it's onwards and upwards for William Haggas' charge who can go on to bigger things. Silent Echo has also won his last two, the latest on very fast ground on the Lancashire track, for which he's been raised 6lb. Derek Duval gained his second victory in four when scoring with a bit in hand at Newmarket under Aaron Jones, who rides him here, while Lualiwa has to be considered as his latest victory at Chester was gained at a slightly higher level and Kevin Ryan has booked Lewis Edwards to negate a 5lb rise. Sir Reginald Brown's maiden victory at Redcar came on quick going and he hasn't been as effective on softer ground subsequently.
