Verdict

This has been run seven times and surprisingly five favourites have won. Foreign Diplomat will be among the market leaders after an impressive maiden victory at Thirsk though that was on fast going. Richard Fahey has three entries and Intiwin has shown a liking for some give in the ground so could prove the best of them with Jack Garritty's claim a bonus while Mount Tahan looked very progressive when making all for a comfortable victory at Wetherby. King To Be disappointed on his one start on soft going last season but made no mistake on his return to action at Goodwood so he's on the shortlist. Normandy Barriere has completed a double on fast going but has shot up the ratings as a consequence. In a wide-open event, an each-way punt is taken on SAKHEE'S RETURN, who was a couple of lengths behind Intiwin on his return at Ripon but pulled too hard before staying on.
