    Verdict

Blue Velvet has hit top form of late and is given the TEAMtalk verdict to notch her third success of the current term. The Dean Ivory-trained mare had Friar Tuck (second) and Get Stuck In (fifth) behind when landing a 5f handicap at Ayr's Western meeting and was only narrowly denied when second of 27 in the Ayr Silver Cup the following day. The daughter of Formidable has been raised a further 4lb since but is still fairly treated on her old form and looks sure to give another good account in a typically open contest. Greenwood has shaped as though this trip will suit ideally and merits consideration while Talbot Avenue, although not the easiest to predict, is another in fair form at present. Toldya had the selection behind when scoring at Kempton last month but now looks plenty high enough in the weights. Cd Flyer is on a winning mark but may find this on the sharp side nowadays while Further Outlook has to prove his fitness following a four-month break.
