Verdict

A typically difficult renewal to get to grips but Researched is fancied to restore his reputation after finding one too good at ascot last time. Kieren Fallon has always said that the Danehill gelding is one horse that he particularly looks forward to riding and the partnership can gain a third win together if all goes to plan in today's contest. There are obviously a good handful of the twenty runners that can easily spoil the party for the champion jockey with Persian Lightning, Etesaal and Jazz Messenger heading the short list. But Researched looks the ideal sort for this race and any hint of 5/1 should be snapped up about him before considering other each way options.
