Nonrunner

In depth

Verdict

Step This Way went out like a light last time when hassled for the lead but she could be able to boss this small field and Mark Johnston's filly is fancied to lead them home; Le Brocquy, Victoria Montoya and Dolly Penrose will all have their followers. The selection dotted up in the Queen Mother's Cup here last month but then disappointed at Windsor. Something was not right there but she wasn't given a hard time and a big run looks on the cards today. Le Brocquy won his sole start at Newmarket in fair fashion; he can only improve on that but it must be considered that it was only a four-runner race. Graceful Descent may well improve on his recent pipe-opener, whilst Dolly Penrose has a very slight turnaround in the weights with Victoria Montoya who beat her last time. West With The Wind is another to complete the field; however preference is for Step This Way.
