Empress Ali is the only course and distance winner in the line-up but she prefers some cut in the ground. FORGOTTEN HERO gets the nod as he is just 1lb higher than his last victory at Newmarket a year ago and has been performing at a higher level, a remark that also applies to Pandora who was a close third in last year's Musidora when trained by Charles Hills. Muhaafiz was the very easy winner of a Class 4 handicap on fast ground at Hamilton but a 9lb rise makes this tougher. Interconnection is on a career-high mark after scoring at this level at Newmarket where a slowly-run race played to his strengths. Arrowzone looked a difficult ride when scoring at Newmarket while Laurence isn't the most consistent and Intrude has only won on the all-weather.
