      Verdict

Though conditions are an unknown, ICE EAGLE (NAP) failed to stay a mile on her handicap debut and had excuses at Kempton the time before. She was impressive in a novice event at Redcar the last time she ran on Turf and there is probably more to come. Richard Fahey is mob-handed in this and Zip looks the pick of his trio and shouldn’t be far away again. Last month’s Ayr winner True Blue Moon is preferred of the Tim Easterby pair with Dancing Rave making more appeal than O’Meara stablemate Oso Rapido. Captain Claret has a similar profile to the selection but was far too keen when favourite on his handicap debut and has done most of his racing so far at Bath. Soaring Star looks best of the rest.
