Verdict

Luca Cumani's yard are on the crest of a wave at the moment and Loves Travelling is fancied to expand on the recent record with Vengenace and Desert Royalty expected to pose the most problems for the selection. The first named from that pair hails from a yard that are emerging from under the cloud their runners found themselves under after a virus hit the yard at the start of this season. However, recent runners from the stable have dropped significant hints that all is now well and, especially after they had a winner at Newmarket yesterday, a market move will be very interesting. Desert Royalty was found out in Group company in Ireland last time and will find this an easier assignment now that the ground has turned in her favour. However, Loves Travelling has also acted very well with cut in the ground and edges the vote after a series of cracking efforts this term. The daughter of Blues Traveller also has a fitness edge over the likes of Lodger, Astromancer and Fourth Dimension, who are worth monitoring whatever happens this afternoon. However, the value call looks to be Loves Travelling, who will be hard to beat as he bids to add to the 23,491 pounds he has already won for his connections this season.
