In depth

Verdict

Avoca Dancer showed plenty of promise on her debut and is taken to land this decent contest from Benbrook and Metropolitan Man. Mark Johnston's filly wasn't beaten far behind Hereux over course and distance last time. She was very green in the early stages but got the hang of things late on to get within a length of the winner. with improvement almost guaranteed she looks the one to be on here. John Dunlop's juveniles invariably improve for their first outings and so Benbrook is expected to step up on his Lingfield debut effort behind Zambach. Metropolitan Man wasn't beaten far behind Pelham Crescent on his first racecourse outing at Newmarket and can be expected to make the frame here. The well exposed Hits Only Jude could be the pick of the remainder, but our idea of the winner is Avoca Dancer.
