      Verdict

Banchieri can give Saeed bin Suroor another success, with stablemate Sugitani, Paper Talk and Love Palace best of the rest. It should be a good little contest between those mentioned with preferences for Banchieri who only lost second close home behind Capable Guest at Leicester on his debut. Described as 'only a baby' by his trainer, the son of Dubai Millennium can take this before going on to better things. An entry in the Vodafone Derby suggests that he should be noted when put over middle-distances next term. Stablemate Sugitani, a Kingmambo colt, is also expected to be better over further on breeding. Paper Talk was thought enough of to be sent off as favourite when third at Newmarket and will have learnt from the experience, while Love Palace was made too much use of when second at Hamilton and a bit more restraint should enable him to take a hand also. However, Banchieri looks a likeable sort and can pay to follow here.
