Verdict

Paparaazi gets the vote in the finale over Moonshine Creek and Danzare. The selection was disappointing last time here but the return to this faster surface should suit and with Faye Bramely taking the ride he could go well at a price. Danzare won well over this course and distance last time and escapes a penalty for that as it was an apprentice handicap. The stable are flying at present so he merits plenty of respect. Moonshine Creek will be suited by the drop in trip as he didn't quite get home last time. Coronado's Gold won a similar race at Haydock for today's pilot back in June so he is another that has to enter calculations. Ahlawy hails from a shrewd yard and is worth a look in the market, especially with leading lady amateur Serena Brotherton booked for the ride. However, he has been tried over a variety of trips without success and although he could go well at a price, he does have plenty of questions to answer at present. This is a competitive race to close the card but the narrow vote is given to Paparaazi who can flash home.
