A competitive looking maiden, with plenty having some experience, and we'll side with one of the most experienced REBEL CITY, ahead of Maverin and Papyrian. Simon Callaghan's colt is having his seventh outing, and first at this trip. Placed in his last four runs, slow starts have cost him on occasions, but there's plenty of time here to accommodate any tardiness at the stalls. It's his first outing since January, and first on turf since his debut last summer, but seems to set a decent standard, and experience could count, especially with 12 pounds in hand on the top weights. Toballa is the most experienced, but hasn't even been placed in her nine runs to date. Maverin was third when running here last time in a similar event last month, and then just out of the frame at Kempton. Seb Sanders does particularly well here, and rides her for the first time. Papyrian showed improvement from debut when placed in a similar race here earlier in the month. Further progress is expected for Willie Jarvis' sole representative on the card. Clive Brittain and John Gosden have been doing well in these sort of contests, and any support for Fantastical or Illusive Spirit could be significant. Alan Bailey's Lowther had a disappointing run in a bumper and is switched to this form of the game, while Starkat sees a track for the first time and could be absolutely anything. However, to end a run of runners- up spots, we'll support Rebel City.
