Verdict

Some well known names contest our final event and we will take a chance on Outer Hebrides, with Dr Synn and Ask The Clerk the main dangers. Most of these have been on the go all season, but the selection is very lightly raced. He showed improved form on his last two outings, running a close fourth to Kamanda Laugh at Doncaster, before chasing home Polar Magic on the all-weather at Lingfield. With more improvement a big possibility he will take all the beating today. Dr Synn hit form last time when landing a competitive event at Goodwood and looks set to figure in the finish again. Ask The Clerk was successful back in March, but has been very frustrating since then in many, many races. He deserves to get his head in front again but may have to settle for place money. Fearby Cross move prove best of the others, but for the victor we return to Outer Hebrides.
