Esprit De Baileys made a successful debut for Amy Murphy over the course and distance and has also won over a similar trip at Goodwood though is up again in the weights for finishing second last time. Bartholomew J completed a hat-trick on this track in early summer before running a shocker at Haydock which wasn't his form and he's had a nice break. POTTERS LADY JANE was beaten a short-head in handicap here in August and returned last month to defy an interrupted run. She looks the type to improve again so a 4lb rise may not be enough to prevent a double. Mystic Meg stayed on strongly to land a 1m2f Sandown handicap and may not have been suited by the track when only fourth at Chelmsford. There are plenty of others with chances including Nelson River, who made a bold bid to follow up his Wolverhampton victory when staying on over slightly further at Pontefract.
