In depth

Verdict

Irish Quest is confidently predicted to account for Shine and Rise and Prince Zafonic. The selection ran a solid race behind the well regarded Duty Free last time out and with the form franked by that horse since, he has plenty of positives at this level. Shine and Rise is no pushover on the formbook with two recent placings. His better form is on fast so any overnight rain would not help his cause. Conversely Prince Zafonic would not be inconvenienced in that event. He has had his chances and looks fated to find another too good here. Rainbow Flame makes a debut for Tom Dascombe having left Walter Swinburn. He needs to improve. Follow In has invariably attracted support in the past but changes in headgear and trip have yielded little fruit. Tonnate is worth a look in the market as an inmate of the Sir Mark Prescott stable. He looks moderate and he could be worth opposing at the likely odds. Irish Quest looks progressive enough and is likely to be priced as such this evening.
