    Verdict

Paradise Valley is selected as the value alternative to beat the likely favourite Seattle Express and Ellovamul. The Groom Dancer gelding bounced back to form at Brighton last month running second to Beachamp Ribbon and the extra furlong could be just what he needs.Seattle Express was successful over the 10 furlong trip here in mid August beating Jade Star under a forceful ride from Richard Quinn, and will be a big danger. Ellovamul landed a minor race at Ripon last time and with Philip Makin claiming the seven pounds allowance this one also enters calculations. But we'll settle for Paradise Valley to land the spoils.
