In depth

Verdict

Erissimus Maximus won a handicap over track and trip last time but is upped 6lb and several of these look capable of improving past him. HAWANA makes most appeal having won a maiden at Newmarket by a couple of lengths. John Gosden’s filly beat a Charlie Appleby inmate on that occasion so the latter should have a good line on the chances of Serengeti Sky, a well beaten third in a Sandown nursery last time. My Dear Baby was behind higher rated horses in a conditions race at Ripon last month while Silent Assassin and Tropical Rock are other maiden winners to note in competitive contest.
