In depth

Verdict

Corvair’s three victories have been on the all-weather though he wasn’t beaten far at this level at Newmarket in May. Dazzling Dan and Farhh To Shy are course and distance winners, the latter having had all four starts here and winning twice. Global Esteem won a Class 4 handicap at Ascot and didn’t appear suited to dropping back to this trip from 5lb higher at Newbury. MAXI BOY hasn’t won since a successful debut here in 2019 but has mainly been racing in better company and has now dropped to his lowest ever mark so can get back to winning ways.
