Fastnet Tempest was no match for Fidaawy over a longer trip last time at Doncaster. Dropping back to his winning distance should suit but he looks high enough in the weight at present. Ceaseless and Free Code are eased in grade so have a chance while Chelmsford scorer Misty Lord is on an upward curve and appeared to handle Turf well enough at Newmarket in July. KESTREL DOT COM is lightly raced and ran a cracker over this track and trip last month when second to Carolinae. He's been raised a further 4lb since, which is a worry, but there should be more to come from Chris Dwyer's four-year-old, who holds Thecornishbarron on the form book. Carolinae's trainer, Charlie Fellowes, saddles Zain Emperor and June's course and distance winner is another to consider but the handicapper may now have a grip on Billy Roberts and Destroyer has become disappointing.
