In depth

Verdict

A chance is taken with Capitalise in the finale, where Rajayoga and Cavendish are also respected. Cavendish is seeking a three-timer and, even under a 6lb penalty, has a solid chance of extending the run. However, he will need to post a career best to prevail, so a cautious approach is advised where he is concerned. Rajayoga reverts to the Flat at a realistic level and has experience of this course. However, he has a better strike-rate over hurdles these days so is difficult to enthuse about too strongly. Therefore, we turn to Cavendish as the one to be on here. The Vince Smith-trained gelding has been in great heart on the All Weather and, as he stays all day, he can grind out another result in this company.
