        Verdict

        Mac Tiernan won his first race in this country at Wolverhampton last month but a 4lb rise in the weights looks harsh and he may struggle to give weight to a couple of potentially well-treated three-year-olds. Critical Point has disappointed once too often and the blinkers will have to bring about a big improvement so the vote goes to TWIN SHADOW, who still has a bit of scope and should have no problem with the extra furlong having finished fourth over a mile here last time. Kelpie Blitz has shown enough to suggest he can also take a hand but King's Masque's form figures have been achieved in sellers.
