In depth

Verdict

Bartholomew J rattled up a hat-trick here last summer but climbed the weights as a consequence and hasn’t really fired so far this season. POTTERS LADY JANE ran a useful filly to a neck at Newmarket 12 days ago and is also a course and distance winner. Only a pound higher, Lucy Wadham’s mare is fancied to go one better ahead of Newbury runner-up Banksy's Art and Percy Prosecco, who is having a first run for Archie Watson. Battle Of Marathon is well treated nowadays and back over a more suitable trip but doesn’t quite look the force of old.
