Verdict

Marwan Koukash will be confident of landing the spoils in this with one of his two runners. The David Simcock-trained Gabrial The Duke has a welter burden to carry but George Buckell takes off 7lb and he's on a hat-trick after victories at Leicester and Salisbury. Gabrial The Thug also has a penalty to contend with and is upped in grade after scoring at Newcastle and we prefer GIANTSTEPSAHEAD who has, fittingly, made big strides this year. He's been raised a further 3lb since his second at Nottingham but is lightly-raced for his age and can get back to winning ways. Indian Trifone is starting to come down the weights but Enriching disappointed last time. Beakers N Nums Nums looks the best of the three-year-olds.
