        Verdict

        Akimbo gets the confident vote with Rowan Warning and Miss Chantilly rating the only dangers. The selection was a good second behind Vanderlin in a much better race last time out and he need only run up to that mark to win this easily and under conditions that suit he is impossible to oppose. Rowan Warning rates the main danger on his latest fifth behind Hornpipe that effort givers him definite place claims but he will need to improve significantly to defeat the selection. Miss Chantilly is another worthy of respect as she is a well bred filly who is sure to have come on for her debut run last season but she may just need the run after a 393 day absence. The remainder have shown very little and are readily opposed and for the winner we return to Akimbo.
