In depth

Verdict

Dragoon Guard has been placed in his last three but is climbing the weights. Irish import Crown Hill was beaten more than 20 lengths on his UK debut and now sports headgear but On Alberts Head is only a pound higher than when winning at Huntingdon in May and there have been signs of life from the mare Quench Tara lately. TOUR DE VILLE (NAP) was quietly fancied for a better race than this here earlier in the month but only consented to run on when the leaders had flown. If closer to the pace today, he could be the one to beat.
