Verdict

This is a competitive affair and a few of these are returning from a break. The Jam Man, Novis Adventus and Really Super are all recent winners. Mister Universum looks the pick of Skelton runners on jockey bookings but High Secret can’t be ignored. Peggies Venture is getting plenty of weight from all-bar Really Super, who is 4lb out of the handicap, but the assessor may have reeled in Wynford and Curious Carlos. BRILLARE MEMENTO (NAP) goes well fresh so an absence since April is not a concern. She had form at a higher level last season and is only 3lb higher than when winning at Towcester in February so shouldn’t be far away.
