Chivite is progressing nicely and looks to have been found an ideal opportunity to follow up his Huntingdon win; Champagne Harry is the most likely to chase him home. After some promising efforts, this Alhaarth gelding landed favouritism by seven lengths at Huntingdon last time, and Philip Hobbs' gelding looks the type to progress further as he steps up in trip. Champagne Harry is also in fair form, having won three of his last four races, but Nigel Twiston-Davies' gelding may struggle to concede a mammoth 17 pounds to the selection. Martin Pipe saddles a couple of hurdling debutantes in Howya Matey and Shillelah Law, and the market may provide a guide as to how well they are fancied, but Chivite sets a good standard here and he looks the one to beat under Richard Johnson.
