Verdict

Chase Me was runner-up to Dan Skelton’s Too Much Too Soon last month at Warwick so the latter should know where he stands with Get Ready Freddy. The top weight has been hurdling lately but did win over fences here and at Uttoxeter last summer, though looks high enough in the handicap now. Prunella Dobbs has sent 18-race maiden Well Joey over from County Wicklow and he is interesting back over the larger obstacles but the going is likely to be much too quick for Take A Break and Market Rasen winner Key To The West was also pulled up last time. SAMSON stays much further so Adrian Heskin will have to set a strong pace but the seven-year-old was successful the last time he raced over 2m so gets a tentative vote.
