Verdict

Doitforjoe is hard to assess on the back of a narrow Irish point-to-point success last month but wouldn't have to produce anything special to be good enough in a modest-looking maiden hurdle. Lets Go Dutchess has failed to capitalise on some fair bumper form in two runs over timber and is best watched and Trakeur and Only A Tipple must improve on efforts to date. Check the market for the Evan Williams newcomer, Hang 'em High but WASHED ASHORE receives the nod. Not seen since a well-beaten odds-on shot at Bangor in May, he's bred for the job and his bumper debut when third at Market Rasen in the spring of 2015 revealed a decent slice of ability which hopefully he can demonstrate on his return to action.
