    Verdict

A wide open handicap here and many would have chances on their best form but the principals look to be Rosemauve, Vitelucy,Smile Pleeze and Swansea Bay and the vote goes to Rosemauve. The selection won a shade cozily last time out when defeating Deferlant and although he has a penalty for that win he will be hard to beat under conditions that suit. Vitelucy rates the main danger he also won well last time out when defeating Oh So Brave but he is not proven over a trip this far and for that reason he is opposed.Smile Pleeze is in the form of his life at present but he is creeping up the weights and he will need to improve again to defy the handicapper. Swansea Bay reverts to hurdles on a fair mark and he is one to note in the market as he has conditions to suit. Of the remainder York Rite ran as if about to hit form when second behind Harem Scarem but this is much more competitive and for the winner we return to Rosemauve.
