Verdict

PENCREEK hasn’t raced since October 2022 but the assessor has dropped him a significant amount down the handicap and Ben Pauling’s stable are going great guns at present. Galata Bridge handles genuinely quick ground and he’ll be high on the shortlist for honours tonight. Allihies came up against an above-average recruit last time out while Rock The House won over course and distance last month and will attempt to make it four wins in a row. Charlie My Boy sits on the cusp of a treble following victories at Aintree and Newton Abbot and he showed plenty of determination when obliging at the former venue.
