Verdict

A couple of these are a cut above the rest and both return from an absence. In The Rough was last seen at the track in May last year when failing to land the odds at Southwell on his chasing debut. But KAKI DE LA PREE has been placed in his last three starts over fences including when beaten only a length at Wetherby in November and Tom Symonds’ charge gets the vote. Devon General won a bumper at Stratford on his racecourse debut but that was back in 2014 while point-to-point winner Lala's Sister has shown nothing so far in a couple of starts over these fences.
