In depth

Verdict

Amanto has had plenty of chances and is rated 19lb lower on the Flat than BANDITRY. Ian Williams’ five-year-old showed promise in two runs over hurdles last season and has had an excellent campaign on the level, winning twice over 1m2f. He looks the type to make into a useful handicap hurdler. Counter Shy has a nice pedigree and was just beaten in a Market Rasen bumper in the spring, though may do better over a bit further. Rainy Day Dylan chased home a subsequent winner at Wincanton in March while Prendergast Hill has won twice on the Flat and should make a hurdler.
