In depth

Verdict

Plenty of runners, but few with a serious chance. Peejay Hobbs ran away with a poor race at Wolverhampton on Monday evening and although he has a penalty to carry here, he should still run well, but he has it all to do with recent course and distance winner Better Moment, who meets his rival on better terms than when handing him a sound beating here last month. Lady Ward has been running well at this level, but out of a mare, who won at up to a mile, she may find this trip beyond her.
