In depth

Verdict

Not many of these arrive in form so this looks a good opportunity for MONT CHOISY (NAP) to recapture the winning thread. He found Hunt Ball too strong over course and distance last time but that was no disgrace and the pair were well clear of the remainder. Nigel Twiston-Davies' ex-pointer should find this company less taxing. American Life reappears under a big weight but threatened a few times last season off similar marks and should make the frame. Vaihau and Drumlee Lad are better than they showed last time but the handicapper looked to have got to course and distance winner Over The Air at Warwick last time.
