Verdict

A number of inconsistent creatures take their chances here and LIKE A DUKE is our answer to the puzzle with Major Miller and Occasionally Yours suggested as alternatives. The ground will be an obvious imponderable for Colin Tizzard's charge but with the yard in form, he could be worth a speculative wager in a race that will not require much in the way of winning. Major Miller is respected despite a sizeable absence. Connections have had to be patient though the form book tells us that he will have few issues with regard to the surface. Occasionally Yours was distant second behind Space Telescope though that horse has looked a reformed character of late. Paddleyourowncanoe has gone up 5lb for a recent placed effort at the track behind Benmadigan. Osolomio is much lesser rated over hurdles than chase fences though has spurned somewhat more obvious opportunities to exploit the handicap blips that have been presented to him. Ash High is off a feather weight and would be one to watch closely in the market. Armenian Boy looked useful earlier on in his career though he has one or two questions to answer at present. Like A Duke is afforded as our nomination.
