In depth

Verdict

Another competitive contest here with many of the horses closely matched on their best form but the principals look to be Xellance, Bodfari Creek and Wintertide and we will side withe the bang in form Xellance. The six year old won well last time out when defeating Win A lot and although he has risen in the weights for that win he won with more in hand than the winning margin would suggest and he may still be ahead of the handicapper. Bodfari Creek rates the main danger on his best form but that has come over a longer trip so for that reason he is opposed on this occasion. Wintertide won a maiden in good style last time out when defeating Euro Falcon but he will find this tougher. Of the remainder Ballykettrail is from a shrewd yard and is worth noting in the market but we are happy to side with the bang in form Xellance.
