Verdict

Very few of these have been visiting the winner's enclosure on recent starts and nothing can be recommended with any real confidence in such a modest seller. In the circumstances it might be worth reverting to the class combination of Gordon Elliott and Richard Johnson via BLAKE DEAN. He's only been with the Irish handler for a couple of starts since leaving Sue Smith and whilst beaten 15l last time by Gold Chain, that run did come in a fair, large-field Perth handicap and represents the best recent form on offer although he hasn't won now for over two and a half years. Double Court may improve for the drop in grade off his featherweight whilst Humbel Ben has the form in the book on recent starts to play a part despite having reached 13 years of age. He's on a decent mark too. Mazovian, Lookslikerainted and Hang Fire could also get involved.
