In depth

Verdict

Osprey View has not looked to be anything out of the ordinary but the Nigel Twiston-Davies-trained gelding looks to have been found a suitable opportunity to resume winning ways and is taken to do so at the main expense of Mr Wiseguy and Command Marshal. The last mentioned may be better than we have seen so far since being switched over hurdles but has given little real cause for optimism so looks best watched. Postage was no better than plating class on the level, while Chalice Welcome was only banded class on the flat and was well held on his hurdling debut. Mr Wiseguy should have learned from his first start over timber at Fontwell and should give the selection most to do but Osprey View is hard to oppose and he gets the vote.
