Verdict
Only four are due to face the starter in this opener but it's still difficult to make a case for Spring Wine. Gentleman Jeff is also thoroughly exposed and has shown little since finishing second at Catterick in January but Prince Of Denial won at Market Rasen on only his third start over fences, though ideally needs further than this. WELL GREEN's best form over hurdles was also over further but he hails from a yard that continues in terrific form and is fancied to make a winning start to his career over the larger obstacles.
